Inflammation Tea and Tincture Set

from $26.00

Our inflammation tincture is made with ginger and propolis (1oz)! This gorgeous tea is made with fresh dried ginger, cinnamon, green tea, tumeric, calendula, rooibos, and black pepper (14 bags).

The science:

Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties and reduces inflammatory cytokines. Without getting too "medically sciencey" on you: it looks really good in laboratory studies for inhibiting inflammation triggers.

Propolis has a long list of  health benefits, including: anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, and antiparasitic properties. Recent research conducted by the National Institute of Health (NIH) has concluded that propolis can reduce inflammation by downgrading pro-inflammatory cytokines and reduce the migration of immune cells.

The antioxidants in cinnamon can help relieve inflammation, which may help lower the risk of heart disease, cancer, cognitive decline and more. The many different types of flavonoids in cinnamon are highly effective at fighting inflammation levels throughout the body.

Tumeric root's active ingredient is a natural compound (polyphenol) called curcumin, which has both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Studies have shown that tumeric can improve arthritis, RA, and other autoimmune disorders.

Calendula and rooibos both contain flavonoids and carotenoids which are active components in fighting inflammation.

Tea: 1 tea bag is good for 12-16 oz of water! I recommend having one bag per day. Tincture: 2 droppers full 2x daily, taken with or without a drink.
